New Jersey Boating Safety Course
Who needs a NJ Boating Safety Certificate?
If you were born in 1949 and later and operate a power boat in NJ, you will need a NJ Boating Safety Certificate by June 1, 2008 or if you operate a waverunner in NJ regardless of your age, you need a NJ Boating Safety Certificate now.

New Jersey Boating Safety Course taught by Capt. Chuck Nucci
USCG Licensed Master 
NJ Certified Boating Safety Instructor

This one day eight hour course satisfies the NJ Boating Safety requirement. At the end of the course, you will take a 50 question test. Upon successful completion of the test ( you need a score of 70 to pass), you will be issued a temporary NJ Boating Safety Certificate. It will take a few months to get the original certificate from the State of NJ, but your temporary certificate will be legal in the interim!

Captain Chuck Nucci is now offering tutoring services in plotting, rules of the road, navigation and deck general for those interested in pursuing a USCG Captain's License.

Paradise Cruises,LLC offers what no one else in the State of NJ does. We own and operate a 35 ' USCG inspected passenger vessel that is set up as a floating classroom. This is a unique opportunity to learn things that cannot be duplicated in a typical classroom setting. We have lots of visuals, on board and around us! Weather permitting, we cruise the waters of the Tuckerton Bay to learn first hand sound signals, head on, crossing and meeting situations. Each student is provided with a chart so that he/she can locate bouys and markers on a chart as well as on the water. There is a compass on every table so that the students learn how to read a compass heading. This is a day packed with knowledge taught by a qualified instructor in a fun and interesting learning environment.
